About Dennis Weitering

I am a professional with a background in cultural anthropology. I am well trained in understanding human and cultural diversity, researching, collecting and understanding information and I am able to communicate this effectively. As an anthropologist I am involved in breaking paradigms and re-evaluate ideas of “normality”. My anthropological background enables me to better understand my own world: this implies exploration and adaptation and results in new ways of thinking of/and seeing the world. I have been working as a project officer in the field of human rights education as well as a coach in supported employment of disadvantaged groups in society. Additionally, I travel to India, Nepal, Bali and Morocco which has nourished my interest in photography, architecture and the beauty of interiors. My anthropological knowledge has a great hand in creating (interior)design. I enjoy the challenge of communicating my experiences as well as translating well researched topics into an exceptional concept/ style. I incorporate a wide range of different perspectives in my approach and by seriously questioning basic assumptions, I come up with non-mainstream solutions.
