About Denny Catacora

When I was 8 years old, my father a literature professor at a teaching institute in Peru, bought a brand new stereo. He opened the box, handed me the instructions and said “Make it work.” By 11 years old I was programming computers side by side with adults. The economic landscape in Peru required strategic thinking as a key factor for success. I set the goal to be the best in class engineer and graduated as the first engineer in the program ever. I was invited to teach as a professor at my alma mater. I focused my expertise and passion in systems engineering, systems integration, manufacturing processes and robotics can be seen in the roles that I’ve served in over my career. I cut my teeth as a manufacturing process engineer, product developer, and tech support manager in the small business sector. Using innovative ideas and blended technology approaches I was able to help companies save money and time in their manufacturing processes which positioned them competitively in the market to face economic challenges. One of the highlights In my career was being invited to speak in front of some of the most brilliant minds at NASA which lead to me being recognized by the national press of Peru for my achievements in the field of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. I believe in the power of empathetic leadership which has helped me bring the best out of my teams and achieve unparalleled business results at some of the most renowned Fortune 500 companies in the world. I am able to think tactically and strategically based on having been a practitioner and a leader in the field. I put my track record to work each day which energizes my continued learning and development. I pride myself on being a subject matter expert in the space, enjoy adding value and perspectives as a thought leader.
