About Deon Diedo

Greetings! I am an aspiring and talented designer with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Spatial Design. My passion for the creative world developed at a young age and has since driven me to pursue a career in design. In addition to my primary field of study, I possess a keen interest in product design, particularly in the creation of bespoke furniture pieces tailored to complement my designs. I place great importance on presentation and therefore strive to utilize my strong graphical skills to create compelling visual representations of my work. I welcome creative challenges and approach problem-solving with enthusiasm. Over the course of four years, I have gained invaluable experience in furniture, residential, and commercial design, with a focus on interior design. This has provided me with the knowledge and skills necessary to undertake commercial and residential design projects with confidence and precision. Furthermore, my participation in an Erasmus+ opportunity afforded me the opportunity to work with the Spanish design studio, Masquespacio. There, I was involved in designing plans and products, as well as engaging in various brainstorming activities. I am dedicated to creating innovative solutions that prioritize the user's needs at the heart of the design. My studies have enabled me to gain a diverse range of design experience, including landscape design, retail design, exhibition design, and furniture design.
