About Dereck Davis

I am a natural born creator. I am an artist and the world is my canvas. I value freedom of self- expression and being able to push the envelope and go far beyond the scope of what's necessary. Successfully started up an online e-commerce store selling niche specific items. Promoted the store through various social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Utilized influencer marketing to help effectively promote products on my store, as well as garnered and built genuine relationships with a number social media influencers that I could use for future projects and endeavors. Created an emailing list of consumers who have brought products from my E-commerce store. The emails could later be used to retarget and upsell other complimentary products. Co-Created the clothing brand "Project Niburu" with founder Dara Oum. Launched in 2014, we've sold a number pieces locally to friends and family within the Long Beach area. Currently planning to reinvent the brand in hopes to take it further expanding our reach to a wider range of people.
