As a Purchaser at Caviness Beef Packers, one of the leading beef processing companies in the US, I ensure the quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials and equipment for the company's operations. I source, negotiate, and order items from various vendors and suppliers, manage the inventory and documentation, and work with internal stakeholders to meet their needs and expectations. I have a strong background in electrical wiring, maintenance, and repair, which I gained from my previous roles as a Mill Operator, Wind Turbine Technician, and Maintenance Electrician. I hold a GWO-BST certification from ENSA North America, which demonstrates my ability to work safely and efficiently in the wind energy sector. I also have an apprenticeship license in electrical skills, which I applied in different settings and projects, such as installing and troubleshooting electrical systems, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing equipment and machinery. I am a hard-working, fast-learning, and easy-going person who is always willing to learn new things and follow instructions. I am motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the success of the company and the industry. I am also interested in expanding my knowledge and skills in the purchasing and electrical fields. I completed high school at Hereford High School in 2017.
