I have 10 years experience in the offshore Oil and Gas industry, 5 years experience as a Fire Fighter / Paramedic With Dublin fire Brigade and have recently completed a Degree in Fire Safety Engineering. Thrive in foreign environments with a flexible nature. Self starter, enthusiastic and energetic. Excellent analytical and organisational capability developed throughout my work experience. TUD (DIT) Geomatics graduate with 1st class Honors Degree Level 8. Awarded 'The Irish Institute of Surveyors Perpetual Trophy' as the best Geomatics Graduate in Ireland in 2010'. Awarded Best Final Year Dissertation in BSc Geomatics in 2010. I have a strong understanding of the offshore workplace with almost 10 years offshore experience. I have worked in the oil and gas, SURF and wind-farm sectors. In recent years I have also been heavily involved as a Project Surveyor / Engineer based onshore, being involved in case studies, project tendering, project planning and general project execution. I have gained various health and safety skills in particular fire safety skills through my work in Dublin Fire Brigade. I am a qualified Paramedic (RCSI) and I work regularly on DFB Ambulances and Fire Appliances. I have recently completed a Level 8 BSc Fire Safety Engineering Degree with ATU (LYIT) which gave me an understanding of the principles of prescriptive based fire safety engineering and design. I am familiar with the various prescriptive codes and standards such as TGD-B, BS5588, etc. I have a comprehensive understanding of the elements of Fire Engineering such as Fire Dynamics, Fire Safety Design, Fire Safety Management and the various Fire Safety Protection Systems employed in the Modern Workplace.
