About Derek Barlow

Sherlock Holmes has always been a role model for me. He would find the most intricate detail and, no matter how small, use that detail to solve a problem. Sometimes the conclusion of one problem created another; the systematic solving of these smaller problems provided a step closer to solving the bigger issue. Much like my role model, I am a problem solver. I focus on solving the issues at hand so a full resolution can be found. But just as Mr. Holmes valued Watson's input, I also believe that a team can accomplish the most daunting challenges. Within my world this team is composed of clients, colleagues, third-parties, and myself. My passion for problem solving and background in analytical sciences has led me to a new approach in engaging with clients. I believe in relationships, detailed understanding of the need, and thorough, yet timely, resolutions. I use these skills as a business performance advisor within the community to help businesses create a strategy for their people which increases revenue while controlling costs.
