I am currently the Head and Chief Investment Officer of the IMF’s Investment Office, responsible for overseeing the Investment Office and managing investments for the IMF Staff Retirement Plan (a defined benefit pension plan) and the IMF Retired Staff Benefits Investment Account (a post-employment and retiree medical benefits plan). The Plans currently total over $17 billion USD, and are managed as globally diversified portfolios across multiple asset classes, including global equities, global fixed income, absolute return, real assets, and alternative investments. As a seasoned investor, strategist, and mentor, I am focused on formulating and implementing sound investment strategies to steer the Plans towards sustained growth, resilience, and long-term sustainability. Moreover, I am enthusiastic about cultivating a dynamic investment office; developing and executing innovative investment strategies and risk management solutions; building optimal portfolios; and developing high caliber investment talent internally.
