About Derek Bramwell

I am a dedicated and adaptable commercial real estate professional with a decade of experience in the leasing and asset management of diverse real estate portfolios across multiple states. I started in the industry as a Property Manager, where I managed 1M square feet of retail, office, and medical centers across the Western US. It was in this role where I developed my ability to effectively resolve conflicts, manage tenant-relations, and identify areas for cost savings. After a few years of Property Management, I wanted to learn a new aspect of Commercial Real Estate and transitioned to the Leasing team where I have worked for the last seven years. During that time, I oversaw leasing efforts for approximately 7M square feet of retail real estate. Having negotiated 500+ deals totaling over 1 million square feet of GLA, I consistently ranked as a top-performing dealmaker within the organization. My dedication to professional development led to my nomination as a mentor in the 2023 Shopcore Mentor Program, where I was recognized as an organizational leader and culture carrier. When I’m not working, I’m usually attending one of my three boys’ sporting events. When I find free time, I enjoy snowboarding, camping, watching Formula 1, and exercising.
