About Derek Bray

For almost the entirety of my adult life, I have been solely focused on obtaining, innovating, and operating successful restaurants. From conceptualization to daily management, and everything in between. Spanning four states and almost two decades, I have strived to reach the pinnacle of my chosen field. Multiple regional/local awards, and even some national recognition has been the direct result of dedication, research, intellectual flexibility and a vehement belief that all of these skills combined with empathy and understanding are the keys to both professional and personal advancement. I have, however, excelled in other industries. From 2009 to 2014, and here and there since, I have truly enjoyed working as a Title Analyst, almost exclusively for the oil and gas industry. Having been contracted to work in six different states and dozens of counties, I have researched county and online records, written corresponding ownership reports, built goal oriented teams, written and negotiated both land and mineral leases, lead communications between attorneys, clients, property owners and contractors and trained and supervised countless team members.
