About Derek Cook

A dynamic, result-driven, open minded, resourceful person with a good sense of humour, coupled with the ability to communicate both diplomatically and comfortably at all levels, within many diverse and different cultures. I have in excess of 20 years’ experience in various aspects of health, safety and environment management, primarily within the oil and gas industry and laterally within the renewable energy industry for EPCI (turnkey) contractor(s), international client(s) and operators. I have assisted in the development and implementation of complete, integrated QHSE Management Systems. These systems have been audited and accredited to ISO ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 & ISO 45001. I have also successfully helped several companies attain the British Safety Council’s National Safety Award. I have significant (oil & gas and renewables) project experience, from project planning & execution, construction (green & brownfield), fabrication, civils, shutdown (turnaround), operations and decommissioning both on and offshore in Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East and the USA.
