About Derek Edgington

I graduated magna cum laude from LMU as a Valedictorian applicant in Los Angeles circa 2016 with a Bachelors in Business Administration: Entrepreneurship & a Concentration in Business Law. I was President of my chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars while in college, and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the business honors society. I've procured a number of both unrelated and highly specialized certifications and skillsets in the interim following graduation from my alma mater, and pursued a variety of business activities. Over the years, I've written almost ten books across my legal & pen name, totaling nearly 1 million words. I've managed a suite of related companies, including Real Freedom LLC, & Edgington Transportation. I handled overall compliance and built an HR department from scratch, & handled contracts for a multi-million dollar company. But I've never been afraid to get my hands dirty, I've worked onsite on many multi-family developments throughout the years in a handful of capacities. In the past few years, I've been involved in blockchain and mining, going so far as to build my own immersion setup from scratch for some ASIC miners while writing content in the space. I became a grassroots expert in my niche, got involved then provided value, which culminated in becoming a founding member of Rooch Network: the first multi-chain capable modular layer2 launching on Ethereum, powered by Move language. I am planning to apply my skill-set at startups in the blockchain space.
