About Derek Genova

The majority of my work experience has been in customer service and people management of one kind or another, mostly in restaurant or arts venue settings, as well as event management from initial planning stages through execution. But the real work has been in finding solutions. How to meet the needs of the organization, the staff, the client, and the customer as best as possible, and all at once? Where these four intersect is the bullseye I do my best to hit. I do my best to think outside the box, but within a given framework, I do my best to bring teams together, be it different organizations, or different departments within a single organization. I do my best to create a positive, but productive work environment. I wear crazy outfits, and love a themed day. Problems are just puzzles, and puzzles are more fun to solve, so that's how I try to see them. Let's put the pieces together.
