About Derek Harris

I am a commercial litigator and trial lawyer. My practice focuses on product liability and personal injury defense and healthcare litigation. I also have extensive experience with commercial contract, construction, and real estate litigation. I have been named by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as a "40 Under 40 Up & Comer" and by Florida Trend’s as a 2014 “Up & Comer.” I am a past Fellow in the Leadership Council for Legal Diversity's Fellows Program. I served for three years as an Associate Editor for ABA Litigation News. I am also actively involved in many Bar and Civic organizations. Much of my pro bono work involves representing children with delinquency, early intervention, and educational neglect issues; helping them get on track to achieve academic and personal success.
