I have worked in the recreation retail industry for 26 years. My career began at Inner Ski in McLean, VA and quickly progressed to opening Pro-Fit Ski & Skate in Leesburg, VA. This business was committed to offering high-end ski, snowboard, inline skate, hockey and skateboard equipment, and pairing it with exceptional service. It was here that I learned how to attend to customer needs, listen to what they want and offer them the best product to suit their desires. Eight years later I moved to Steamboat Springs, CO to teach Ski and Snowboard Business at Colorado Mountain College (CMC). While at CMC I also took the position of general manager (GM) at Steamboat Ski & Bike Kare and have been there for 9 years. Since I became GM our downtown location has expanded to include larger service centers. We also opened a second location at the base of Steamboat Resort in 2014.
