Having spent five years as a practicing attorney advising individuals and businesses on risk management, compliance, and other issues, I am now seeking to expand my career into project and operations management. This transition is in pursuit of collaborative business opportunities that will allow me to more fully utilize the critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills that I developed as an attorney and as an officer in the United States Navy. As a naval officer, I managed many programs and led numerous cross-functional teams of diverse individuals working cohesively towards achievement of preset objectives. In an effort to build upon my current skill sets and further advance my business acumen, I am pursuing a master’s degree in finance with a specialization in strategic innovation and change management to focus on cash and capital management and financial assessment of business opportunities in a variety of industries.
