About Derek Huffman

Ever since I was seven years old and first received my N64, video games have been a growing part of my life. The gaming industry has changed immensely since the 1980s to the point where they are not just for entertainment, but they have become an integral part of education, simulation, and storytelling. With the new role games have taken in the world, I want to be able to become part of the movement where people learn through games simply because it is fun. For what I have done personally, I have volunteered for positions that range from level designer to executive producer and continue to help indie developers get the start they need with their games. Some projects I have been involved with include Pinstripe, The Adventure Pals, Invisigun Heroes, and Gebub's Adventure.
