About Derek Lamble

I am a self-motivated and energetic Red Seal Certified Journeyman Steamfitter/Pipefitter with extensive training and experience planning and scheduling. I have over 18 years of industry related experience in all aspects of oil, gas and petrochemical. My experience extends from mod yards, fab shops, site maintenance, commissioning, start-ups and turnarounds. My extensive field experience allows for me to be a more accurate planner/scheduler. I use a proactive approach with knowledge of how work is executed safely and efficiently in the field. I am extremely versatile, just because my background is in piping does not limit me to just that field. I have experience planning/scheduling towers, drums, exchangers, furnaces and refractory on top of piping. Also my experience includes maintenance, turnaround and project planning and scheduling. I take pride in my leadership skills, being a good communicator, being a mentor and a team player. My positive attitude and eagerness to learn helps me become a better planner/scheduler daily. I have strong computer skills including SAP, Primavera P6, ICMS, Microsoft Office, Navisworks, Smart Plant and multiple PDF softwares.
