Background

About Derek Luos

As an entrepreneur, my goal is not to simply build a portfolio of profitable businesses. Rather, I am forging a living, breathing syndicate of dreamers, artisans, and families working together toward shared prosperity. As the founder and CEO of Aranea Group, my role is to steward not just capital and industry, but family and community. Through Aranea Group, I lead the development of New York based Syndicated Enterprises, independent businesses that share strategic funding, infrastructure, and inter-subsidiary trade, while remaining rooted in their own unique identities. Each entity strengthens the others. Each enterprise becomes a thread in the larger fabric of a resilient economic and cultural ecosystem. My work lives at the intersection of entrepreneurship, principal investing, and community building. I focus on scalable systems that empower owners, reward contributors, and honor the intergenerational nature of real, sustainable wealth. Automation is not used to replace people, but to remove friction from the flow of labor, ownership, and reward. We do not chase headlines. We build businesses with intention, designed to stand the test of time, reflect the character of their boroughs, and return dignity to working ownership. Our vision extends beyond capital acquisition. We are rebuilding New York, enterprise by enterprise, family by family, block by block.
