I currently work for the NYPD performing complex, confidential, and sensitive research and analysis of crime and criminal activity data and identify patterns in criminal activity by utilizing state of the art database applications, spreadsheet applications, and Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping technology to identify specific crime patterns; using spatial analysis techniques to produce thematic overlays; conducting demographic analysis; utilize qualitative and quantitative analytical tools to assist the agency in designing tactical and operational initiatives and determining the appropriate allocation of personnel and other critical agency resources for crime prevention. Previous job experience includes work as a personal training being a leader and strong presence to help those in need achieve their goals and foster and foundation of self discipline and self achievement. As a social worker I engaged with the community to help those children in the community in need have the potential hope and aid for a better future, providing resources for those families in need and help for those in desperate situations. My role as a Resident Director provided strong student engagement and a understanding of student affairs and relationships. Allowing me to work hands on to provide the students with proper support for their housing experience on campus.
