06/2012 to Present AECOM/URS, 40+ hours/week, Aircraft Worker: Consistently and efficiently completed all assigned tasks IAW VSE, Air Force, DOT, EPA, and OSHA standards and directives! Eagerly sought additional tasks to complete in order to stay ahead of pending deadlines. Completed all sanding and painting tasks’ IAW T.O. 1-1-8, Application and Removal of Organic Coatings, Aerospace and Non-Aerospace Equipment and AFI 21-105, Aerospace Equipment Structural Maintenance, and parts specific TOs, AFIs, and directives: disassembled and reassembled Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) to fully inspect all parts for corrosion…removed and replaced corroded AGE equipment and parts; scaled, sanded, and painted AGE equipment and parts. Inspected, tested, operations checked all completed AGE equipment to ensure required serviceability and safe operations. Interpreted and implemented policy directives and instructions while maintaining environmentally friendly practices. Additionally, applied organic paint stripper to allow for Nondestructive Inspections of critical aircraft support assets. As well as blasted AGE and aircraft parts with aluminum oxide and/or plastic media. Finally, completed AGE corrosion control process by identifying, accounting, and tracking with stenciling material IAW. T.O. 35-1-3, Corrosion Prevention, Painting, and Marking of USAF Support Equipment (SE). Versatile! Quality inspected F-15 aircraft and HH60 helicopter parts, i.e: 106s, 552s, Aileron, Floor Boards, LAU-128s, Pintle Blocks and Arms, and Pylons for corrosion control. Sanded and painted as required to guarantee a longer cradle to grave life span. Finally, maintained painting operability, i.e: inspected and replaced paint booth filters and wall and floor coverings, serviced High Volume Low Pressure spray guns, compressed air lines, Bullard breathing air compressor, and paint mixing control and waste stream areas.
