About Derek Miller

I have spent the past seven years implementing enterprise wide IT projects for the government that range from mainframe failover, software rollout, and system modernization. I have experience with a variety of technologies and a proven track record of working across large organizations to bring stakeholders together to identify solutions that bring efficiency, forward compatibility, and enhanced user experience. Before government consulting I worked in digital marketing for approximately four years doing content creation, strategy, and AdWords. Prior to all of this I taught English in Taiwan for two years. I have studied and worked in Germany, Japan and Taiwan. I am devoted to exploring different cultures and understanding the impacts they have on different aspects of life, such as education and business. I enjoy foreign language learning, and believe it is a valuable asset in a global society. As a part of any organization I seek to improve standards, efficiency and awareness of my position. I keep up to date on national and international issues, so as to better understand the world.
