About Derek Murray

Building my superhero powers to help save the planet is my main drive. With qualifications, and a background in forestry, I have brought this knowledge into the corporate world to help build something more in my career. With 75K + native Irish trees planted as part of a project for Accenture, I set the bar very high for my own future initiatives. Working for Docusign, I save the planet one tree at a time. However, that is not superhero enough, so I have actively tried, and succeeded to become the Impact lead for Dublin. Since becoming the Impact lead for Dublin, I have created connections with various charities in the Dublin area including: Flossie and the Beach Cleaners, Dublin Simon Community, GLAS and many more. I lead a team of similarly minded people to achieve something that benefits our external stakeholders, while driving the internal culture at Docusign. By day I'm focused on building a team passionate about our company's cashflow. Making connections is the core tenet of any high performing accounts receivable team, something I hold very dearly. With experience working for (Docsign), or on behalf of (Microsoft & Google) world-class SaaS companies, I know the power of networks and leveraging internal stakeholder groups to achieve a common goal. Knowledge is power, so regular upskilling and training are at the forefront of my career. At home, or out in the hills I show a strong ability to be resourceful. I have brought this skill through to my professional career by succeeding with what is available to me or reaching out to those that can support.
