As a Leader at Best Buy Canada for over 20 years, I drove success through people that translated into profit. With full P&L responsibility, developed and led cross functional teams on innovative, breakthrough strategies that ultimately drove brand awareness, engagement, and sales/profit growth across multiple portfolios. As a result, my work with companies such as Beats, DJI, GoPro, and Canon allowed us to deliver number one market position in various industries. As a people manager and team leader, I was active in the mentoring program at Best Buy while also being asked to lead internal forums on purchasing and branding. Since then I have served as Director of Sales at Sunrise Poultry, a vertically integrated company involved with farms, hatcheries, processing and fully cooked product. Through my involvement our sales team has expanded exponentially, increased B2B collaboration between plants and retail, and worked strategically along side both retail and food service providers such as Sobeys, Costco, 7-11, and Nando's. Diversity between both retail and manufacturing leadership roles has allowed me to take an entrepreneurial approach to business while setting the vision to achieve maximum results.
