About Derek Stanley

I am a graduate from the Aerospace Engineering Bachelors program at Ryerson University, currently under employment by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada on the production line. My education at Ryerson University has provided me with a wide variety of knowledge in design, manufacturing management, stress analysis, and systems engineering. This knowledge coupled with my experience as a CNC operator at George Guenzler and Sons Inc. has provided a practical view on the design and manufacturing processes and the ability to quickly address and solve problems that may occur in testing and implementation. In these experiences it was discovered that the best solutions that meet the needs of the client often involved input from producers and end users. This was further reinforced in my role as an applications designer at Cambridge Elevating when working closely with dealers and sales, service, and installation teams to generate drawings, address onsite issues, and improve our product and processes. Engineering is a passion of mine, and I would like to provide my knowledge, experiences, and passion to the industry. I seek to provide contributions which exceed customers’ expectations while maintaining the utmost safety and quality in all of those who work directly and indirectly with all of my work.
