Background
About Derek Sulek
Originally from Boise, Idaho, I am a versatile Producer, Director, and Writer based in Los Angeles. As a co-owner of Fade to Black Films, I am deeply involved in every stage of content creation—from development and pitching to producing, writing, and directing premium projects for major networks. With a strong foundation in financial management, team leadership, and project oversight, I ensure each project is smoothly guided from its initial concept to final delivery. As a proud member of the Producers Guild of America, I am committed to maintaining excellence throughout the entire production process. At Fade to Black Films, our mission is to craft memorable cinematic experiences that leave a lasting impact on audiences. With over two decades of industry experience, we’ve had the privilege of collaborating with leading companies such as Radar Pictures, Fox Entertainment, Disney, Relativity Media, Amazon Prime, A&E Networks, UPTV, Maestro Media, and many more.
