About Derek Tarnow
I am an Austin area musician. I primarily play guitar. I also have experience playing bass and keys. Typically keys as an auxiliary to guitar/bass.(guitar, guitar, guitar. reach over to the keys. back to GUITAR!) I have had the pleasure of sharing the stage/bandstand with many wonderful folks over the years. Presently my primary focus performance-wise is a Classic Country/Western Swing group called, The Merles. I also work with the fabulous River City Pops. Of course, I am always looking for ways to hone/broaden my skill set. I currently teach at what I am pleased to say is an awesome music school, Don't Stop Rockin'.(Guitar/Piano/Bass) Be on the look out for "DSR" students. They rock now and I don't think they will stop until they melt all of your faces clean off!
