Whilst working as an Interim Manager / Consultant I have held full technical and delivery responsibility for large Capital Expenditure programmes simultaneously coupled with managing Transformation and Organisational Change to enable the successful realisation of those programmes / projects. My remit has included the review and subsequent change of organisation, processes and working practices at both corporate and delivery team levels to re-position for delivery success. Specific activities have included; Management of Programme / Project Delivery with £230M resource Budget across multiple costs centres, WBS and Schedule responsibility / authority. Management of over 150 personnel (permanent, seconded, contract) including recruitment, performance assessment, mentoring, re-direction and tasking and across diverse sites. Management of Suppliers engagement and delivery in addition to ensuring compliance verification. Definition of cost-benefit models for justification of investment commensurate with required organisation capability maturity improvement needs. Review, redefinition and change management of corporate / programme processes, process implementation and overall capability maturity. Preparation / delivery of presentations to ‘C’ Level management inclusive of advising on corporate change strategy and corrective action proposals. Chief Engineer function - Sole Technical Sign-off Authority or Design Assurance Board chair / member responsible for approving all engineering output from +£3Bn programme / project delivery teams.
