As the Head of Information Technology Department at Rosewood Baha Mar, I oversee the daily IT operations of a luxury resort, managing systems, applications, servers, and customer support. I have been a crucial pre-opening team leader for Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, Baha Mar Casino and Rosewood Baha Mar resort openings. I've led and implemented multiple projects, such as Oracle Opera PMS and Interface configurations and upgrade, Servers, systems and applications management and Infomation Security, Data Privacy, PCI-DSS and GDPR trainings and compliance. I have also worked closely with senior corporate executives to achieve set company goals and objectives though research, strategic planning, implementing, developing solutiins and improving IT processes and procedures. I have 6+ years of diverse IT experience in the hospitality industry. I am ComTIA A+ and Security+ certified, demonstrating my proficiency in hardware, software, and network security. I am passionate about learning new skills, especially hands-on experiences, and gaining beneficial mentorship, growth, and development in my career. I am a natural leader, a detail-oriented hard worker, and a collaborative team player. I enjoy working independently as well as alongside my colleagues to deliver high-quality IT solutions and services for the resort.
