About Deric Ashbrook

I am a graduate of Penn State Harrisburg, where I received my Bachelor's degree in American Studies. The completion of my degree has left me with a desire to continue to learn and grow. My time at Penn State Harrisburg also gave me critical thinking skills, which I look forward to using in a professional setting. While in college, I worked at Giant Foods and Enterprise Holdings. Both jobs allowed me to develop excellent customer service skills. My time at Giant forced me to interact face-to-face with customers, become knowledgeable about products, and keep a clean, organized work area. All of these were necessary to increase company sales and retain customers. Like Giant Foods, my experience at Enterprise Holdings involved daily face-to-face customer interactions. The job also required me to possess a fine attention to detail, educate myself on bar code computer systems, be well versed in problem prevention, and meet team goals.
