I LOVE What I Do 1. Started the CATIE software project from inception to proof of concept to production deployment a. I have been working on the same project since June 6th, 2011 and have been part of a team that has taken our software solution from inception, proof of concept, alpha and beta, to successful production deployments for the better part of a decade. Started the QA process and implemented Jira: a. I had the opportunity to establish and refine the QA process for my software solution as well as other software packages and introduced the use of Jira. b. I was part of a team that migrated our development process form Waterfall, to Agifall, to Agile using Jira to manage our sprints and development cycles. Training of staff members and customers: a. I love being customer facing and have trained our staff as well as our customers regarding all facets of our software and desired outcomes. Liaison between development and stakeholders: a. I have had the opportunity to be a technical resource in several sales presentations to ensure that all potential stakeholders understand our software capabilities and options to customize based on any unique needs regarding delivery or functionality. Work with customers to understand their software needs and ensure that what is delivered by development is an exact match to the desired outcome: a. When an existing or new stakeholder needs new or custom functionality or an integration into an existing system, it is my job to understand the exact desired outcome and communicate that to our development team to ensure that what is delivered is a match to what was expected. Solve problems internally and externally: a. I spend a significant amount of time week in and week out solving problems. It is one of the things that I enjoy the most about my job. Whether it be helping our development team with a dev, RC, or production build, helping QA facilitate testing, helping the training department prepare processes for new functionality, or helping support troubleshoot, I love working with all our teams to move our software forward.
