Currently pursuing a career as a civil rights attorney, he is deeply involved in several landmark civil litigation cases aimed at safeguarding civil rights. Deric is the founder of Skye High Credit, a successful credit repair company, and has initiated a felon re-entry program designed to help felons rebuild their credit, secure housing, and ultimately, decrease recidivism rates. Residing in Kentucky with his wife, Jennifer, and daughter Fiona, Deric is committed to continuous learning and holds certifications in various areas of law, including but not limited to, American Contract Law, Artificial Intelligence and Law, and laws and torts of the United States and the United Kingdom. In addition to his legal expertise, Deric has earned certifications in Project Management Professional, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, Psychological First Aid, among others. As a recognized thought leader, Deric has been invited to speak at universities, conventions, and numerous civil rights demonstrations. His passion for activism extends into the arts as the owner of Rifle City Records, a successful music production and branding business. Currently, Deric is penning a book that recounts his experiences and insights gained from his journey in activism.
