Writing a summary about yourself is tough, but here it goes: Profile Pic: When the cell towers are down and you accidentally drop your keys in a Walmart parking lot(In a different city). AND they go down the storm drain. AND No, I did not see any Ninja Turtles down in the sewer :) But seriously, my name is Derrick Brien, Big D to all my friends. Even though work is a fast paced environment in day-to-day maintenance, I always try to find the humour in a situation, a quick smile or off handed joke can often help diffuse a challenging situation and help a team re-focus on a tough task. People feed off of negative energy, so I always try to stay positive:) Solution oriented. This is my approach at work and at home. I tend to look for root causes of situations and not just a quick fix. This helps with looking at big picture issues and capitol investing, not just maintenance related issues. Friends would likely describe be as: Quirky(like we all are), friendly, outgoing, high self-esteem, definitely NOT shy and probably a little bit loud.(From several years of being a football coach) Well, I was right, it's tough to write about your self, feel free to send me a message if you would like to discuss anything (open invite), it's always nice to hear from friends (old and new).
