With over 11 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, I bring a strong foundation in precision inspection, CMM operations, and quality control processes within both commercial manufacturing and government shipbuilding. I regularly exceed individual and team-based quotas while ensuring compliance with rigorous standards through the use of precision tools such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers. I've also served as the backup Quality Engineer, bringing added depth to my quality knowledge. In addition, I have 3+ years of experience operating five-axis CNC machining centers, specializing in the production of non-ferrous and high-performance alloy parts — including components for AR-15 rifles supplied to the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement agencies. As a Safety Coordinator for 2.5 years, I led OSHA/HAZCOM compliance initiatives and safety trainings for multi-shift teams of 20+ employees, helping to foster a safe and productive workplace environment. Technically versatile, I’m trained in FeatureCAM, AutoCAD, and have over two years of SolidWorks experience. My design projects include an ergonomic keyboard stand for the Dean of Business at Blue Ridge Community College and a carbon fiber utility rack developed during a materials engineering course. Additional experience includes shipping/receiving, operating forge presses, and forklift operations — all of which reflect my adaptability across the production and manufacturing pipeline.
