About Derrick Geraghty

As a qualified accountant and auditor I have worked extensively for a number of large listed organisations in the UK with significant global operations. I have excellent technical experience in IFRS, UK GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, Internal Controls, ISA and PCAOB audit standards, and ISAE excellent knowledge of Financial Crime Prevention including AML and CTF, and good knowledge of other regulatory matters including Client Money and PRA reporting. I also have extensive experience in managing risk on engagements through a number of years as an independent reviewer for audit & assurance projects and other national risk projects. I have recently moved into the financial services regulation team, helping to build out propositions in the financial crime space to banks, investment firms, and fintechs.
