About Derrick Lind

Derrick has more than 25 years experience as a structural engineer designing complex multi-million-dollar projects for clients in the heavy construction industry for marine facilities all over the world. He has a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University and is a registered structural engineer in California and Hawaii. Derrick is a partner on multifamily properties with more than 600 units, as well as one light industrial development deal. His personal portfolio has grown to seven out-of-state properties, including single-family rentals and small multifamily properties. He has completed several successful flips of single-family properties in various markets. Derrick is an active contributor to Michael Blank’s Deal Maker Mastermind community and has completed the Deal Maker Certification program. The extensive resources and access to partners/mentors available through this program further strengthen Derrick’s multifamily investment capabilities. In his spare time, Derrick enjoys woodworking and metal fabrication, including furniture and small sculptures.
