Derrick has a passion for helping people! I lead with a core value of hard work,lifting others up, serving others, having fun and always doing the next right thing. Our brand promise that you can take to the bank is we will be on time, in budget and communicate proactively and exceptionally! 7B has experience in over 360 new commercial ground up projects. Over the last few years we have focused on helping clients grow their express car wash brands. Today developed & built over 100 locations for various car wash clients. We have also recently developed and built several QSR’s, multi family, office & light industrial. Derrick graduated with his business degree in 2008 from Lubbock Christian University. Derrick is married to his wife Tasha Merchant for 11 years and they have 2 boys. Malachi is 8 years old and Lincoln which is 5 years old. Derrick enjoys playing with his boys, golfing, working out, watching Texas Tech athletics, hunting, worshipping at Open church and helping people. Derrick currently serves on the Lubbock Christian University business board, Higher Ground Ministries board, Business Operating on Missions board, and the South West Car Wash association board. We’re creating a culture that makes work fun! We’re creating a culture of loving of team members like Jesus does. Loving our customers like Jesus does. Derrick has been an entrepreneur since 3rd grade and enjoy the complexities of scaling companies!
