The company consistently produced mid teen EBITDA results and double digit IRR to its majority shareholder, despite a 30% decline in its core ultra high speed scanner market as the use of paper declined. At the time of departure from the company, 25% of product revenue was being produced by products introduced within the last three years to expand market depth. As the CEO of ibml, I directly managed executives from product development, finance, customer service, sales, marketing and manufacturing. At ibml, we developed manufacturing processes to produce sophisticated electro-mechanical document scanning equipment, developed a base of international resellers, and managed a multi-million dollar private equity transaction returning significant value to shareholders.
