About Derrick Roberts

With over 20 years of experience in event production, lighting design, and cross platform media, I am an expert in creating visually spectacular and technically ingenious events that celebrate the magical and transformative qualities of illumination and total event production. As the president of Derrick Roberts Productions, Inc.(DRP), a boutique full service production company, I have worked with clients such as Martha Stewart, BizBash, and Frost Lighting, and won the Spirit of Excellence Award for Best Corporate Event at the International Special Events Society (ISES) in 2008. My goal is to provide high-end design ideas and personalized service to my customers, and to help them achieve their financial and strategic objectives while still producing healthy growth in this challenging economy. I have a passion for innovation, collaboration, and excellence, and I am always looking for new opportunities to learn, share, and inspire.
