Derrick Swallow is a transportation planner with deep expertise in bus rapid transit (BRT), bus speed and reliability, and corridor design. At TransLink, he has led planning for major BRT initiatives, including the King George Boulevard BRT and the regional prioritization of nine corridors, where he applied multi-criteria evaluations to balance ridership demand, land use integration, equity, and municipal support. His ability to translate complex technical analysis into clear frameworks has helped secure political approval and build consensus across municipalities.
