About Derwin McGee

Throughout my life I have had a diverse set of experience when it comes to my career, and my education. I have had managerial/supervisory skills in fast food, construction, lawn service and receiving operations. I have done everything, from my first few years in the food industry from flipping burgers to throwing pizza to managing a small pizza place. After which I spent 10-11 years on and off working as nurse aide, med aide, and psych tech. I also labored doing construction doing anything from insulation, patios, painting, roofing, and have a pretty good knowledge of many aspects of home building and repair. While I went to school for computing, I helped with a family business while raising my children. I have quite a diverse set of computing skills. I regret that I didn't take an internship, but family always comes first and I ran a family fence company for several years either in the field, or in it's entirety. After which I have been in the retail hardware business, which has afforded me the opportunity to do many things. I have been called as a receiving manager, good at stocking, many aspects of customer service and support over the phone and in person. At this time in my life I would either like to concentrate as a specialist, pro specialist, or customer tech support. I know that my computer skills, communication skills, and my life experience can be very helpful to the company that can use my full potential.
