About Derwyn Goodall

I am an award-winning, accredited Creative Director, Art Director and Graphic Designer. My approach to brand design is collaborative and strategic. Over the course of my 30 year career I have helped many organizations, small and large, position themselves for success.THOUGHT LEADERToday, good design is good business! Good design will increase your company’s value, boost sales, and will put your business in a better financial situation. Through building trust, making strong first impressions, building customer relationships, and executing successful marketing campaigns, good design will help make your business more profitable. In my experience, many organizations do not communicate the quality of their offering enough or distinguish themselves from their competition. Today every company, no matter what industry, faces a significant amount of competition. A strategic, visually dynamic brand will differentiate any company.TEACHER AND MENTORI am an Adjunct Professor of Graphic Design for 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate core studios in Typography and Graphic Design. I believe in “giving back”. I was fortunate enough to have a few wonderful teachers and mentors in my life. Those experiences affected me deeply which led me to want to teach and mentor young, aspiring designers. Being a teacher is great responsibility and a unique privilege. We nurture, encourage, reprimand and support. I also believe that education should exist outside of the classroom and have recently established paid internship positions with my company. To know that I made a positive difference in a young person’s life and career, gives me tremendous satisfaction.
