About Deshala Collier

My current experience is as a Staff Accountant for Sutherland Global Services. My recent experience has been as an accountant for the State of Wyoming. My experience in accounting has been on-the-job training, which has been substantial. For example, working closely with Accounting firms and CPAs in the position of Financial Services Coordinator with Independence Place, Inc. which is a Center for Independent Living, I had considerable training with a CPA group in regard to QuickBooks and Payroll. In the beginning, I processed Payroll through QuickBooks, and then leadership decided to outsource to ADP, where I was responsible for entering the information into the ADP portal. I have seven years of Medical Transcription experience in a hospital setting and then a Radiology office, as well, as proofreading for approximately one year. In my daily duties, I have entered information into SSA databases in regard to grant financials, drawdowns, and reporting. I have used QuickBooks on a daily basis and currently have a QuickBooks Online certification. For the State of Wyoming, I entered information into their online financial systems (WOLFS) and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation databases, as well as using Microsoft Suite and Google Suite such as Google Docs, Calendar, Chat, and Google Sheets.
