About Desirae Mayes

I have experience doing a variety of things. I was a lead proctor so responsibility was a must as well as multitasking. I had to count and watch over test materials while administering the test to a group of students. I was an aide on the counseling office back in high school where I learned to do clerical work. I loved helping out the counselors. I am really great with MS word, excel, and powerpoint. I lettered in computer studies. So I love computers and figuring out things. My typing skills are excellent. My future goals include various different things because I am such a passionate person about a lot of different things. My main goals include working with adolescents. I want to open up my own psychological practice for adolescents. I also want to open up my own resturant. Those are my big dreams I have for myself. Now I am realizing that I would love to be an academic advisor. College has taught me a lot both inside and outside the classroom. I was very into college during my time there and not only got an education but lived life. I learned so much that is going to help me through my life journey. I also strived to help others and made sure we all made it. Motivation is my thing. I have a lot of life skills that I would like to use to motivate and help teens get on the right track and aim for success. My motto is Never, Never Give up!
