About Desiree Loscalzo

Currently, I am a Program Support Specialist at the Administration for Children and Families, where I leverage my extensive experience in early childhood programming to provide programmatic and fiscal oversight for federal grant recipients. As a Curriculum Coordinator, I worked with teachers and coaches to develop curriculum guides for implementation. I coordinated with grade-level teams to implement and evaluate grade-level curricula. I also directed ongoing professional development activities for instructional staff - aligned to evidence-based practices and state standards I hold a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Florida, focusing on Curriculum and Teacher Education. I also hold an MA in Teacher Leadership and School Improvement and a BA in Sociology and Developmental Psychology. I am passionate about creating inclusive and effective educational resources and experiences that support students and educators. Interests include writing, reading, museums, astronomy, and historical documentaries.
