About Desneige Meyer

I am an interdisciplinary health advocate, social equity researcher, and consummate solution-finder. My career has spanned program development and management, research, and grant writing for Indigenous-serving and equity-focused not-for-profits in Canada and internationally. I am especially passionate about reaching rural and marginalized communities and protecting children's rights. I have experience at all stages of social development, including stakeholder engagement, novel program design, fundraising, project management, recruitment, training, cooperative and entrepreneurial ownership approaches, and program evaluation. I have extensive lived experience navigating the pediatric health system in Canada. I have been a public speaker and advocate for issues related to cystic fibrosis, a cause dear to my heart.
