About Desray Posthumus

I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Business degree, majoring in marketing at Unitec Institute of Technology. I am currently working part-time as an administrator for Geotechnics Ltd. I have chosen to pursue marketing as I am a creative and passionate individual. I believe marketing is all about thinking outside of the box and problem-solving for a brand to become its best version, which connects with my core values of continuous improvement and imagination. While working part-time, I have been able to use and improve many of my skills, including my writing, collaborative, problem-solving, and creative talents, to work within teams to create social media posts and campaigns. Through my self-taught knowledge, I have also learned how to work with WordPress to develop websites, create logo designs, and creative writing. My goal is to have my own marketing business, where I help small businesses improve their brand. I want to do this because I am a spontaneous and compassionate person and would love to help small businesses in need. I enjoy writing articles for publications in my spare time, and my most successful project was writing for a significant publication, Women’s Media Center.
