I am an apparel designer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in fashion design, a minor in marketing and fashion merchandising, and 17 years experience designing private and branded labels for nearly all major retailers and department stores. My experience and education has given me a comprehensive understanding of all stages and aspects of the apparel design process - from conception and product development - through manufacturing and on-time delivery. Over the past decade, I have focused on designing, coordinating, and approving all phases of trend development, color palates, and pattern selection, as well as providing direct interaction with vendors and manufacturers to meet strict deadlines. After gaining this valuable experience, I recently launched my own apparel design advisory business, currently focusing on providing advisory services to a broad range of apparel-oriented business. I am able to provide valuable guidance to my clients on all phases of apparel design, trend development, color palates, and pattern selection, as well as offer direct interaction with vendors and manufacturers to help build and deliver a valuable final product.
