I’ve always believed that Human Resources is more than just a job; it’s about creating meaningful connections and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. My journey began at the Darla Moore School of Business, where I discovered my passion for HR during my first class. That spark led me to an internship at BOMAG Americas, where I was able to dive into the dynamic world of human resources. Today, as a Human Resources Generalist at BOMAG Americas, I’m proud to contribute to a positive workplace culture. One of my most rewarding experiences was directing an on-site family day event with a budget of bringing together 250 attendees for a day filled with fun and connection. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do—seeing people come together fosters a sense of belonging. During my time here, I’ve had the opportunity to refine our onboarding processes significantly. From 2022 to 2024 alone, I helped onboard over 157 new hires while ensuring they felt welcomed and supported from day one. This focus on employee experience has been central to my work; it’s about making sure everyone feels valued as part of the team. Before stepping into my current role, I was fortunate enough to conduct a thorough review of labor documentation practices during my internship. This initiative led to a 30% decrease in preparation time for compliance audits—a small win that made a big difference in our efficiency. Outside of work, I enjoy engaging with the community and exploring ways to support local initiatives that align with my values in HR. Whether it’s volunteering or participating in workshops, I believe in continuous learning and giving back.
