About Destiny Lee

My name is Destiny Lee. I am a culinary dietitian who is enthusiastic about health and wellness and looking to fulfill a role in the restaurant/retail industry. Here are a few specialty areas I have become most passionate about working in: 1) Nutrient Analysis and Labeling - I managed two diverse softwares (ESHA Research Genesis R&D Food Formulation and Labeling Software & MenuCalc Nutrition Label Generator and Analysis Software) to build the recipe database and create ingredient statements/labels. 2) Regulatory Affairs - I have experience revising corporate restaurant menus at the national level to ensure succinct statements and other nutrition-related information comply with government regulations. 3) Nutrition Research - I worked with a paraprofessional team to compile an online library of health education resources for Nashville's neurodivergent community. 4) Food Safety and Allergy Specifications - I have hours of experience working in food service operations at various levels and possess a ServSafe certification. I am always excited to step outside my comfort zone and acquire new expertise to help me grow as a practitioner. Personal Interests: Reading (my favorite is The Midnight Library by Matt Haig), Camping with My Dog (I have a basset hound), Traveling (my most recent trip was to Alaska), and Cooking, Of Course!(I love Korean and Filipino food) Let’s connect!
